I have been teaching professionally since 2000 at a number of Secondary Schools in Melbourne. Most roles have been as an employee of the Victorian Department of Education, although I have also been employed as a contractor in a private school.

I have directed the Australian Youth Band Drumline for a number of years. The drumline is the marching percussion section of the band. There can be up to 16 members of the group and they perform both as part the band in parades and displays, and as a separate group.

Community percussion workshops have been organised through the City of Banyule in the past to promote and encourage young people in the region to attend council run events and festivals.
