Launched in late 2000, Music Teachers Online started as a small searchable database of Australian music teachers.
The website has seen regular improvements to accommodate the growing number of music teachers and music schools wishing to promote themselves online. After some major upgrades in 2007-2008, the website was relaunched as a directory.
